About the Organization
TWGHs Community Services Early Childhood Service
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs), this year in its 150th anniversary , have been the most historical and largest charity organization in Hong Kong providing medical, education and social welfare services with more than 309 service units, spreading over Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. TWGHs started to develop its nursery schools services from 1968. Now there are 15 registered non-profitable Nursery Schools and Nursery schools with day crèche services, providing long whole-day child care and educational services to children under six, including Integrated Programme to mildly Handicapped children. Our curriculum values the multiple learning needs of children at different developmental stages, building a joyful environment for children to establish a strong foundation of basic abilities, healthy physical and mental development, as well as to build positive attitude and daily habits.

School Features
Cultivate Reading Habits
Using Story-based pedagogy to build children's abilities listening, speaking, reading and writing, and to develop their interests and habits in reading.
Learning through exploration
Using Project Approach to inspire children's initiative in learning, and allowing them to explore, observe, experiment and build active disposition for problem solving.
Encourage observations
To enhance children's perception, appreciation towards their environment, people and objects, self expression and creativity through enriching arts activities. As well as their self awareness and abilities in expressing emotion.
Learning from the bodies
Through dance and exploratory movement activates, to improve children's senses of space, time and energy, to build flexibility of the body, self-confidence and to nurture creativity.
Learning through daily living and nature
Through diverse activities, like singing, reading children's songs, storytelling, play and cooking etc., young children are exposed to and acquire language in natural environment.
Partnership with parents
To provide support to parents in parenting and parent-child relations through diverse modes of channels.
Campus facilities
Our school spreads about 400 sq.m, including six classrooms, gross motor play room, kitchen, washrooms, Principal room and staff office and storage areas. | |
Children activity room comprises of diverse corners, including Learning Corner, Language Corner, Art and Craft Corner, Books Corner, Science Corner, Imaginary Corner, Emotion Corner, Teaching materials Corner, Toys Corner, Ground Toys Corner, etc. These corners cultivate children's self-learning motivation and inspire their interests and potential in learning. | |
Public facilities such as park, playground, shopping mall, post office and supermarket in the neighborhood. facilitates children to contact with the nature and the community. |

Our Professional Team
Teaching Team
The Nursery school Principal, Senior Early Childhood Practitioner and Early Childhood Practitioner all process professional qualifications. Passion and enriched experiences in childhood curriculum. | |
The organization establish the ports of curriculum officer, stationing Social Workers, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, to provide professional consultation and trainings over curriculum and pedagagy, as well as to provide professional supports to children and parents. |
Teacher's Development
To satisfy the need for school development and child development, our school organizes and attends different professional teachers training courses on a regular basis, to continually improve the professional knowledge and skills of our teachers.
