TWGHs Parents Academy
Grateful to the funding support of the HSBC 150th Anniversary Charity Programme, TWGHs initiated a 5-year TWGHs Parents Academy in October 2016, in providing parents education in a cross-communal, cross-sector and cross-media dimension. With the belief in 'No boundaries in Learning, no Limits in love', the Academy provides parents in Hong Kong with developmental and preventive parent education, aiming to assist them in establishing positive parent-child relationship.
Our school is one of the Programme Partners. Through collaboration with communal organizations, we hope to provide diversified Parents Education courses and activities for our parents with different needs, for them to understand their own ideal and values. We hope to build a supporting network, and to discover and utilize the resources both within and outside a family. We place 'Parent-Child Relationship' and 'Emotional Education' as the focus of the course, and provide the Parent Education Programme according to the children’s developmental stages. We aim to accompany our parents in this joyful and challenging journey in parenting.
